Baby Dance to Shape of You by Ed Sheeran

"Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran, released on January 6, 2017, became the most-streamed song on Spotify for four consecutive years, accumulating over 4 billion streams. Written originally for Rihanna, Ed Sheeran decided to keep it after his co-writers Steve Mac and Johnny McDaid convinced him it was too good to give away. The song spent 12 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped charts in 34 countries. Its marimba-driven tropical house beat created a sonic blueprint that dominated pop music for years afterward.

Why This Song Is Perfect for Baby Dance Videos

Spotify's All-Time Champion

"Shape of You" held the title of Spotify's most-streamed song for years, a testament to its universal, addictive appeal. The song's distinctive marimba intro is one of the most recognized sounds in modern pop music — most people can identify it within the first two notes.

Why it creates exceptional baby dance content:

• 96 BPM tropical groove: The moderate tempo creates smooth, flowing baby movements that look naturally graceful
• Marimba rhythm: The percussive melody gives AI clear rhythmic markers for perfectly timed movements
• Ed Sheeran's broad appeal: He's one of the world's most-followed artists, ensuring massive potential audience
• The "I'm in love with your body" hook: Paired with baby dancing, the lyric becomes hilariously wholesome
• Dancehall influence: The Caribbean rhythm creates hip-swaying, grooving movements that look adorable on babies
